Most foreign nationals require a visa to enter Uganda. We recommend applying for an e-Visa in advance via the official portal: https://visas.immigration.go.ug

Tourist visas are valid for up to 90 days. Citizens of East African Community (EAC) member states may enter visa-free. Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry.

A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for entry into Uganda.

Other recommended vaccinations include:

  • Hepatitis A and B
  • Typhoid
  • Tetanus
  • Rabies (for longer stays or rural travel)

Tap water is not safe to drink in Uganda. Hotel Noesis provides complimentary bottled drinking water in all rooms and dining areas.

Our kitchens use purified water in all food and beverage preparation and follow strict international hygiene standards.

Uganda enjoys a mild equatorial climate, with average temperatures ranging from 20–28°C year-round.

The best travel seasons are the dry months:
